Latris Latrelle Oliveira: How a Boutique Lingerie Founder Became a Fashion Media Entrepreneur

Latris Latrelle Oliveira is a fashion entrepreneur, creative strategist, media founder, and runway producer whose work spans fashion, media, luxury experiences, and global creative industries.

Her entrepreneurial journey began in 2014 with the founding of Pretty Posh Lingerie, a boutique inspired and supported by her late mother. Her passion for creating opportunities for others soon expanded into fashion production, styling, and creative direction. She sponsored runway showcases for emerging designers in New York City, produced creative events in Atlanta, and eventually expanded her work internationally.

Latris made her public runway debut during the COVID-19 pandemic through a virtual presentation, followed by her Paris debut at the Ritz-Carlton in 2022. Her growing interest in the production and strategy behind fashion shows led to the creation of Front Row by Latris Latrelle, a platform focused on producing runway experiences and supporting emerging designers and creatives.

In late 2025, she launched Posh Group Creative Agency, a boutique creative and strategic platform dedicated to identifying and developing talent based on vision, creativity, passion, and purpose. She is also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of SHUBA Magazine, a global publication covering fashion, art, photography, beauty, travel, lifestyle, luxury, and culture, with a focus on emerging creative communities and destinations often overlooked by mainstream media.

A cancer survivor, Latris brings resilience, purpose, and determination to her entrepreneurial journey. Her commitment to leadership and continued education includes completing the Women's Leadership Program through Yale Executive Education at Yale School of Management in 2019, as well as completing Marketing and Communication for Luxury Brands through an educational partnership between ELLE Magazine and Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Today, Latris continues to build platforms that connect creative talent with meaningful opportunities across fashion, media, luxury, travel, and culture. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that talent should not be limited by access, geography, or resources - and that the right bridge can turn a creative vision into reality.

Q: What inspired you to found your businesses, and what were the main challenges you faced?

I was inspired by a passion for fashion, storytelling, and creating opportunities for people and brands that deserve to be seen. Through my work in media, fashion, events, and creative strategy, I have focused on building platforms for emerging talent and entrepreneurs.

My biggest challenges were building without a traditional roadmap, securing resources, gaining industry access, and learning how to scale multiple ventures.

Q? Did you start the venture alone?

I started with my own vision and built the foundation independently. Over time, I developed strong relationships with creatives, designers, partners, and clients. Collaboration has become an important part of how I grow.

Q: What's your business model, and how have you grown your revenue?

My business model combines creative strategy, fashion and event production, media, editorial services, and strategic partnerships.

I have grown revenue by creating connected services rather than relying on one income stream. Clients can work with me across multiple areas, from runway shows and events to editorial exposure, brand strategy, and representation. My focus is now on strategic growth and expanding my international reach.
