Allison Byers is a passionate leader with 15+ years' experience building and leading start-ups. She has focused her career on using data to understand and influence human behavior in a wide range of industries. Allison recently founded Scroobious, a video pitch platform for diverse start-ups including Black, Latinx, women, LGBTQ+, and veteran founders to be discovered by and connected to angels, venture capitalists, and corporate investors. Prior to Scroobious, Allison co-ran a start-up medical device company where she successfully raised nearly $10M and experienced the inefficiencies of fundraising first-hand. She has also been the Director of online media & search at Compete (now Comscore) and a Senior Consultant at The Brookeside Group. Allison received her MBA in Marketing Strategy and Business Analysis from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and her BA with Honors, summa cum laude, in Psychology and Philosophy from Syracuse University.

Juliet Peters spent a decade as a television journalist before law school, working in Ohio, Corpus Christi, and Milwaukee. She always wanted to be a lawyer, but her love for journalism put that dream on pause. After graduating from Arizona State University College of Law, she worked as a civil
