Nida Mehtab Gillio is the founder and CEO of [Goalytics](https://www.goalytics.io/?ref=foundedbywomen.org), an AI-powered business performance intelligence platform that connects company strategy to program, team and individual OKRs and KPIs. In 2019, she also founded Caryatid Space, a global, boutique, women-owned workplace transformation consultancy.

The idea came from seeing the same gap across client after client. Leadership teams had a clear strategy, but the link broke as goals moved down to departments and teams, each setting its own OKRs and tracking KPIs in separate spreadsheets. Goalytics ties every key result to a measurable KPI, so leaders can see exactly how each team's work contributes to company results.

In this Q&A, Nida shares what moved her from consulting to building Goalytics, what her strategy background still teaches her every day as a founder, and what is ahead, from an official launch in January 2027 and a first enterprise customer in Q1 2027 to new integrations with Confluence, ServiceNow and Salesforce.

### Q: After years in strategy and workplace consulting, what made you start Goalytics?

Throughout my years on the client side, and later when I started Caryatid Space in 2019, my focus was helping organizations build workplaces where people could thrive. But both inside the organizations I worked for and with client after client at my consultancy, I kept running into the same problem. Leadership teams had a clear strategy and well-written organizational goals. Then the link broke as those goals moved down to programs, departments and teams. Each team set its own OKRs, KPIs were tracked in separate spreadsheets, and nobody could show how a team's key results actually added up to the company's objectives. When I asked whether the work was moving the business forward, nobody could answer with confidence, because performance was measured in pieces rather than as one connected system.

I had a love/hate relationship with OKRs: I loved the idea and hated how they were usually run. So I built Goalytics, the platform I kept wishing my clients and I had. It connects organizational strategy to program, team and individual OKRs, and ties every key result to a measurable KPI, so leaders can see exactly how each team's work contributes to company results.

### Q: What did your strategy background teach you that you now use every day as a founder?

The biggest lesson was that a strategy is only as good as its execution, and execution depends on alignment. Every team needs to understand how its objectives roll up to program goals, and how those program goals roll up to the organization's priorities. In consulting, I learned to start by listening and mapping how an organization really works before setting a single goal. I still do this every day, whether I'm talking to customers, shaping the product or prioritizing what my team builds next.

It also taught me to be disciplined about measurement and focus. A goal without clear key results and KPIs is just an intention, so every objective needs measurable key results, each with a defined metric and a target. I spent years helping leaders weigh priorities by business impact, and I apply that same thinking to Goalytics. I run my company on our own framework: clear OKRs, honest KPIs and every team's work visibly connected to our company goals.

### Q: What's the next big step for Goalytics?

Our platform is already live and in use, and our official launch is coming in January 2027\. In Q1 2027, we're also planning to go live with our first enterprise customer. That's a major milestone for us, because it means proving Goalytics can connect OKRs and KPIs across many layers at once, from company-wide goals down to programs, departments, teams and individual contributors. Alongside that rollout, we're expanding our integrations beyond Jira, Slack, Workday, Databricks and Microsoft Teams to include Confluence, ServiceNow and Salesforce. That way KPI data flows in automatically from where work actually happens, and progress on every key result stays current without manual updates.

Goalytics already has agentic AI capabilities, and we're expanding them further. Simply by connecting to a company's internal systems and strategy documents, Goalytics will be able to draft a complete set of objectives, key results and KPIs, already linked to the right team and program goals, for the team to refine together. The long-term goal hasn't changed since my consulting days: I want every person in an organization to see how their work drives the company's results. I also want leaders to see who is creating that impact and where it's coming from, so they can iterate on strategy and pivot in real time.
